VOO Introduces a New Reality for Business Aviation at NBAA

VOO will present its new product, the world’s first digital B2B marketplace to search, book, pay and manage private jet charter flights, at this year’s NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) for the first time. This annual event, which has a variable venue across the USA, after four years returns to Orlando, Florida and will take place from October 18-20 at the Orange County Convention Center at Orlando Executive Airport.

This year’s show, which brings together key aviation contacts from around the world, business aircraft owners, services and facilities providers, manufacturers and customers, will attract more than 23,000 attendees from 98 countries. The main focus of NBAA is traditionally on the latest business aviation technology and the ways to build a more sustainable industry.

The 2022 edition of NBAA-BACE marks the show’s 75th anniversary where an extensive program of educational and informational sessions – reflected in 18 presentations on this topic – designed to enhance the development of safety culture will be offered along with festivities. The event will feature opening remarks by European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Executive Director Patrick Ky, renowned astrophysicist, author and science commentator Neil deGrasse Tyson and famous NASCAR racer Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

In retrospect, the 2020 show in Orlando was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the 2021 event in Las Vegas became one of the most successful and impactful shows in NBAA history. In a time of powerful growth, fast-paced innovation, a deep commitment to sustainability and a shared desire to shape the future, business aviation demonstrated its current vision and enormous potential to further develop and influence the entire industry despite the challenging times.

VOO, an official member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), will be exhibiting at this year’s show for the first time and will present its revolutionary VOO Marketplace. With its product combining all the essential key elements spotlighted at the NBAA show – innovation, new technology and sustainability – VOO is ready to be industry breakthrough.

“Earlier this year, we listened intently to charter brokers and aircraft operators at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in San Diego. After a successful product launch several weeks ago, we are confident that our game-changing software comes at the right time to solve many of the problems the industry is currently facing. With that in mind, we are excited to enter the U.S. market and exhibit at NBAA-BACE for the first time.” – Robert Plhak, CEO at VOO flights.

The VOOcrew represented by Robert Plhak, CEO at VOO Flights, Stephan Grandy, Sales Representative and Mario Pichler, Product Owner will be available at North/South Building — booth 1554 during the entire show to introduce the benefits of VOO such as increased efficiency, elevated productivity and maximized utilization, answer questions and register new customers.

VOO Comes to London for ACE22 – Business Air Charter Networking Expo

VOO will participate in the dedicated Air Charter Association conference and exhibition ACE22, introducing its new product – the world’s first B2B digital marketplace to search, book, pay and manage private jet charter flights. This year’s event, which will take place on Tuesday, September 13 at Biggin Hill Airport in London, expands to include a larger program of exhibitions and conferences covering all aspects of air charter operations in a single eventful day.

The annual expo, with the charter industry in the spotlight, will be held in London for the sixth time and will be organized and hosted by the Air Charter Association in partnership with the airport and Business Air News magazine. Last year’s show attracted a record number of participants and exhibitors for this event – over 1,100 – and the coming event is designed to feature major industry representatives and their latest products, services and innovations as well as static aircraft showcase and an extensive conference program.

ACE22 will be action-packed throughout an entire day of workshops and seminars on key topics relevant to business aviation. All the workshops will be broadcast live to an international audience. Among the highlights of this year’s event are sustainable aviation fuels: seminars on this topic will cover alternative fuels – SAF, hydrogen and electricity; and carbon offsets – a guide to solutions and emissions offsets will be presented along with such topics as eVTOL operations in the charter market.

VOO will showcase its unique market solution to the ACE audience for the first time and will be represented by Robert Plhak, CEO of VOO Flights and Stephan Grandy, Sales Representative. The VOOcrew will be available at booth 114 at Biggin Hill Airport during the entire show to introduce the benefits of VOO such as increased efficiency, elevated productivity and maximized utilization, answer questions and register new customers.

“After such a crazy and busy summer season, charter brokers and aircraft operators are exhausted. The Air Charter Expo is the only industry event dedicated to charter. So it’s the right place and the right time to present VOO to the industry. We look forward to meeting brokers and operators again at ACE22 at Biggin Hill and helping them handle another peak season that is sure to come.” – Robert Plhak, CEO at VOO flights.

VOO Aviation Service Pioneers a Launch of the World’s First Solution for Private Jet Travel

The air transport industry’s enormous potential has faced global limitations caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Widespread travel restrictions around the world have slashed demand for air travel, with more than eight in ten flights canceled. At the same time, the number of people flying has decreased faster than the number of flights, leaving many nearly-empty “ghost flights” in the air. At the same time, health-related restrictions have prompted an increasing number of people to look for a private jet as a practical and safe solution for their essential travel needs. Until now, the market did not offer a platform for a quick and effortless solution to book a private jet.

Austrian software development company VOO Aviation Service therefore offers a completely new digital marketplace that enables direct search, booking, management and payment for private jet flights. This innovative tool offers operators and brokers, the opportunity to find the best solution for the entire fleet without “dead” requests, at lower costs and with higher profit margins. As a result of the successful development of this state-of-the-art digital service, the start-up founded in 2020 in Graz is now ready to make a breakthrough in international business aviation.

The global air transportation industry alone generates more GDP than the automobile and pharmaceutical industries combined. The worldwide trade volume is expected to almost double by 2038 and contribute around USD 6.3 trillion to the global economy. VOO not only recognized the industry’s great potential, but also identified an undeveloped niche, the engagement of which aims to bring about profound transformation in the industry. With more than 349,000 lines of code written, 30 sprints done, 905 story points and more than 365 user stories through, the system is now 98% complete. Scheduled to launch in June 2022, VOO’s new product is designed to revolutionize business aviation.

“After the travel restrictions were eased, business aviation got an opportunity to capture premium passengers who might previously have chosen airlines. The overall motivator is traveling safely. Despite the lifting of pandemic-related measures, health and safety concerns remain an important driving factor in favor of choosing a private jet, as large commercial carriers can’t offer the same conditions.” – Rene Inkret, VOO executive partner.
