Itinerary editing 2.0.

The editing functionality in the flight folder has been fundamentally redesigned to best meet your needs. Operators can now edit all flight details within an input form. Simply click on the “edit” button next to the leg and modify the itinerary.

Restricted overflights

Ensure accurate flight planning with a few clicks. With this product update, we allowoperators to define countries to be excluded from the automatic calculation of flight routes. This means that these countries will not be considered for overflight, as well as for takeoffs, landings, and refueling stops.

Weekend surcharges

VOO customers can now set prices for defined days upon arrival and departure for each aircraft and airport in the Airport Pricing Setup. When clicking on the “Weekday surcharge days” row, a pop-up window appears allowing you to select of weekdays and define the corresponding price for each airport.

Night surcharges

For VOO customers, it is now possible to set a price for arrivals and departures specifically during the period between sunset and sunrise. VOO considers the latitude and longitude of each airport in the calculation.

For each operator, a ready-made luxury tax setup for Italy and Great Britain is available by default in VOO under “Pricing / Luxury Tax”. The customer can adapt and apply this feature according to their needs and spare time.

Dynamic pricing

Operators now have the ability to enter dynamic prices for taxis and ferries. This function can be found in the Pricing system under “Aircraft Pricing”. The input is made at a defined time interval in minutes. If the flight time does not fall within a defined timeline, VOO will revert to the respective mandatory fields for the calculation.

Improved flight folder status overview

The overview of the deal process and status is a user-friendly update designed to improve the user experience of VOO software. Brokers and operators will now get a better overview of the deal status and enjoy an overview of all available booking actions, which are now always displayed in the folder header. This is a very useful instrument that will help you stay up-to-date on the current deal status.

SMS notification

No need to look through all your emails or check your “spam” folder to find what you need – you will receive an SMS notification from VOO every time you get a new booking request or a new incoming clarification. This way, you won’t miss a single deal or booking request. You can choose this SMS option in addition to the standard email notification.

Creating an initial booking offer

Operators can now proactively engage brokers by initiating booking offers without requiring a prior inquiry or clarification. A booking offer is binding upon creation. Once broker accepts the terms and conditions and cancellation policy, the status of the flight folder can be changed to “booking confirmed.” As long as the flight folder has the “booking offer” status, both broker and operator can cancel the offer at any time without consequences or need for justification. This streamlined approach fosters collaboration, offers flexibility and efficiency and accelerates the booking process.

Email notifications about new chat
messages 

To stay informed, both brokers and operators will receive email notifications with a summary of new or unread chat messages. The email subject line indicates unread chat messages, and the body informs the user about the specific flight folder containing the messages. A visual indicator will also appear in the relevant flight folder. Users have the flexibility to enable or disable these notifications in their settings.

Flight organization

The first step into the flight organization function in VOO is here. Users can now input and manage passenger data directly within flight details. Required fields include passenger name, with optional additional information. Users can edit or delete passenger data as needed. For multi-leg flights, previously entered passenger data can be reused. This feature is accessible to both brokers and operators.

The flight folder now displays documents in two distinct sections. On the left, users will find system-generated flight documents. To the right, brokers and operators can optionally upload additional relevant files.

This addition offers brokers and operators a dedicated tool for efficiently visualizing as well as utilizing and booking empty flights, and providing cost-effective flight options to their clients. This essential feature empowers brokers to efficiently search, and filter available empty legs based on their specific criteria and provides operators with a seamless way to benefit from empty sectors.

A “Clarification” feature has been introduced to the search results overview. This enhancement allows users to create clarifications directly within the search results, eliminating the need to navigate to the aircraft details page.

Seasonal hotspots can now be configured not only for a specific period, but also to repeat annually. By enabling the “recurrent” check box, the hotspot will automatically become active at a defined time in the subsequent years.

Savings setting for external ferry flights

A new section has been added to the aircraft setup (logistics and savings) to configure savings settings for ferry flights imported from operators’ flight scheduling software. This feature simplifies the configuration and management of savings settings for ferry flights, enabling better integration into existing logistics price calculation processes. Users can now set specific savings parameters for imported ferry flights to ensure optimized price calculations and discounts control/management.
